Our Learning and Development team is dedicated to providing all employees with the opportunity to develop skills and knowledge, and fulfill their full potential.
We understand that each of our employees has different needs for personal and professional growth. With this in mind, our commitment is to motivate and inspire through various training activities, internal communication sessions, fun events and one to one coaching. Whatever role you are in and whether you are in our Head Office, Stores, Customer Services or Distribution Centre environment, you will always be encouraged to develop yourself and your skills.
Our Training and Development includes:
Induction - once you join The White Company team, we will welcome you with a comprehensive induction programme. We want you to have the best possible start and receive an induction tailored to your individual needs with an opportunity to meet and learn with people from various functions of the business.
Regular Performance Reviews - following an initial review after three months, you will have regular reviews with your Line Manager during which your ongoing development will be discussed and an individual plan created. These reviews help to monitor your progress, celebrate your successes and manage your development.
Tailored Training - we are proud of our commitment to bespoke training in all areas of the business. Amongst others, we have developed outstanding customer service programmes for our retail and customer service teams; Buying and Merchandising programmes accredited by the University of Westminster and the business supports professional qualifications where appropriate.
